Serious Inquiries Only
SAFC does not operate as a general contact desk. We do not accept cold outreach, media requests, or exploratory messages from people who are unsure what they are looking for. If you have a specific and serious reason to engage with the circle, there is a defined path for it.
Before you reach out
The principals who benefit most from engaging with SAFC are those who arrive with a clear and specific objective. Vague interest is not a basis for engagement. If you are still in the exploratory phase — reading about the corridor, deciding whether China–East Africa is relevant to your work, or wondering whether SAFC might be useful — the right starting point is to read the briefings, study the corridor, and return when you have a specific question.
If you already know what you are trying to accomplish and believe that SAFC can facilitate it, the paths below are structured precisely for that purpose. Each path has a defined format, a specific submission process, and a response timeline. Use the one that matches your situation.

Three Ways to Engage
Request an Invitation
If you are a founder, operator, or capital allocator with a genuine interest in the China–East Africa corridor and believe you meet the criteria for circle membership, submit a formal application. Applications are reviewed personally within 14 working days.
For principals seeking membership.
Submit ApplicationStrategic Inquiry
If you have a specific business objective on the corridor — a partnership you are seeking, a market entry you are planning, or an introduction you need — submit a strategic inquiry. We review all inquiries and respond to those that are specific and actionable.
For principals with a defined engagement objective.
Submit InquiryEvent Access
If you are requesting access to a specific SAFC gathering — a private dinner, roundtable, or executive salon — submit an access request directly on the relevant gathering page. Access is not guaranteed and is reviewed individually.
For access requests to specific sessions.
